Since I am an old guy, soon to be 60, I have done my best to avoid the web. But I know I need to keep learning. So here is my first blog.
For years now, I have been hearing about people pretending to be on the web. Recently, a person showed up at my office expecting a meeting with me. When my assistant asked the young person who set up the appointment, the young man said that I did. He sincerely believed he was talking to me via the web. My assistant, knowing that I know nothing about the web, I don't use e-mail, I barely use a cell phone, knew that he had been e-mailing with someone impersonating me on the web.
My question is, why would someone want to impersonate me? I know people do...but don't they have a life? Don't they have anything better to do?
In response, I decided I would write my first blog. So to all of you out there in cyber-land,without anything better to do, especially those that sit around criticizing me, I recommend you get a F-ing life. Instead of impersonate me, or spend your worthless life criticizing me, why not develop a personality and spend more time criticizing yourself.
End of first blog.
Robert Kiyosaki
The first comment on RK's first blog! I feel so honored =).
Mr. Kiyosaki, I know that you get a lot of flak sometimes for the things that you say, but I think they need to be said. If you aren't going to stand up for the financial well-being of this country, who will? (Helicopter Ben? hahahahahaha... Excuse me while I stop laughing and regain my composure)
In any case, I just wanted to let you know that you continue to be a personal inspiration to me, and to a lot of other people I know as well (like the people on the RichDad.com forums). Thank you for saying things many of us wouldn't have the guts to say, and thank you for standing up for this country and trying to increase all of our levels of financial education.
Too bad your open position is for a graphics designer! If it was for a coder/programmer/web developer, I would soooo already have applied.

RK - I appreciate you as well. Your no-nonsense attitude and your willingness to share yourself is such an inspiration. To tell you the truth, I am so nervous about the future of our economy, but in reading Rich Dad Poor Dad, the Cashflow Quadrant, and Rich Woman, I know what I have to do to position myself and help my family position themselves (if they are willing to listen).
I am changing my financial mindset on a daily basis. I am moving from an "E" to an "I", and learning so much from the process.
Thank you so much, and may God continue to bless you abundantly!

Robert,
I applaud your honesty and hope you continue with the blogging.
To quote Dr. Seuss, "Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind."
Thank you, RK.

RK - who is your intended audience for this BLOG? If you are preaching to the choir, then GREAT. Let loose, brother. But if you are preaching to the masses, you might want to edit the message - I am not sure the above message is in harmony with your mission of "elevating the financial well-being of humanity"? This is your one and only message. Every action, every communication, every product must be focused on this simple mission.
In your post, you sound bitter, lacking of confidence, and vulnerable...although human, not exactly the PUBLIC traits of a leader and certainly not the traits of the face of a global brand.
We all have our bads days. Delete the blog entry and delete the post in the forum. Your first BLOG should be one of Hope, Education, Innovation, etc.
Mulligan!

RK, people don't like the truth because it hurts....give it anyway. Your truth awakens those of us who are willing to step outside the comfort zone of what we think we know. Thanks.

Robert,
Does the timing of this blog have any correlation to the situation that has transpired between some of your staff and Casey Serin?
I know there was a lot of comments said about you on that blog by some very pathetic people.
I recommend you take a page out of Donald Trumps blog. He gets so much crap for his postings on Trump University about that Rosie situation and he never addresses them. He just keeps slamming on her and going about his business.
By the way, thanks for the financial education.

Kudos to you Mr. Kiyosaki for keeping it real. And for those that criticize your harsh rhetoric... learn to keep it real!

"...get a F-ing life."
"...or spend your worthless life..."
For some reason I doubt the validity of this actually being Mr. Kiyosaki.
If it is, that's a shame. If not, take your own advice.

RK,
A big fan. You have changed the way I think about money and about my family's future. I am researching hopefully my first deal and have learned a ton from your Road to Riches series. Thank you.

You go Robert.
I'd be pissed too if someone ran around pretending to be me as well and if you want to tell the world about it then it's your right to do so.

Hopefully not your last post, Robert! As a guy that doesn't own a cell phone, I can relate a bit. However, how can you live without a daily dose of the web and email?
Glad to see that you are getting kids involved in the Rich Dad message with Kelsey & Karly as Rich Dad Ambassadors. I think it is critical to get the message out to the kids 'cause old folks like us can't change the world without them! ;-)

Do you feel responsible for Casey Serin's debt over at iamfacingforeclosure.com? Is the Rich Dad character fiction? What do you say about John Reed's page at http://www.johntreed.com/Kiyosaki.html?

RK -
People criticize you because you are not honest with them. Most of your background is fabricated, and you are unable to prove that you've made ANY substantial profit in Real Estate.
Your wealth is the result of writing 26 books, most of which essentially say the same thing - and are actually extrapolations of old Wall Street wisdom.
You are essentially a Snake Oil salesman, and add very little to society. I feel sad for the uneducated fools who fall for your scam.
I doubt you will let this comment actually appear on your blog, but I feel better for have written it.

Why don't you buy Casey Serin's houses? Why don't you make him your project and use all your wisdom to get him out of his problems? You are his hero.

That's pretty sad if someone is going around pretending to be you; that means there are people out there that *want* to be well-marketed, smug, opportunistic, ridiculous, money-grubbing, uneducated with something-to-prove creatures of mediocrity.
Congratulations.
We're not impressed; even with your prickly resolve enhanced with colourful expletives that are intended to make you seem youthful and relevant.
Not working.

Also, can I get back all the money I spent on those con-job classes? Can you tell Carleton Sheets too?

Sycophants,
I am the true RK.
I have finally decided that I must confess my true secret of financial success.
I was hitting the bong late one night, it was in the late 80's and saw Tom Vu, hanging with hot Kelly Bundy kinda blonde girls ...
Tom's wisdom astounded me, as he regailed the story of the old man who passed along the 'three word secret of wealth'.
"People are Stupid"
And with that wisdom, I realized I could write a big pile of steaming p**p, I could just tell people I was successful, and because "People are Stupid" they would believe me.
They would never realize I only became wealthy from telling other losers how to become wealthy.
F***ng idiots.
Sincerely
Bobert
